Broccoli is an edible green plant in the cabbage family, whose large flowering head is used as a vegetable. Broccoli is high in vitamin C and Flavones.

Sulforaphane is a molecule within the isothiocyanate group of organosulfur compounds. It exhibits anticancer and antimicrobial properties in experimental models.
